Felipe Massa was quickest in the first practice session ahead of the Belgium grand prix
Ferrari drivers Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen were quickest in the first day of practice ahead of the Belgium grand prix this weekend.
Massa set the fastest lap at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit on Friday with a time of one minute 47.284 seconds.
Raikkonen, meanwhile, was second quickest, setting a time of one minute 47.623 seconds.
Title leader Lewis Hamilton was third quickest in his McLaren, ahead of team-mate Heikki Kovalainen, Renault's Fernando Alonso and Mark Webber in his Red Bull.
It was a disappointing session for Honda with British driver Jenson Button and Brazil's Rubens Barrichello lapping slowest of all the drivers.
Button's session wasn't helped when he missed the Bus Stop chicane leading to his lap being disallowed.
Hamilton goes into the Belgium grand prix with a six-point lead over Massa and a 13-point lead over reigning champion Raikkonen.
