Portugal's talismanic captain Cristiano Ronaldo has denied that he is feeling the pressure of his team's Euro 2012 semi-final showdown with world and European champions Spain.
The Real Madrid forward has scored three goals in his team's last two games to propel them to the last-four fixture in Ukraine this evening (June 27th).
However, most expensive player in football history Ronaldo suggested he doesn't feel under any more pressure than normal to succeed despite the hopes of a nation resting on his shoulders.
He suffered a poor start to the tournament, missing a number of key chances in the team's 3-2 victory over Denmark.
Ronaldo came back strongly, though, to seal qualification with two strikes against the Netherlands before grabbing the winner versus Czech Republic in the quarter-finals.
Speaking about the game ahead to reporters, the forward added: "These games are part of my life. I have to be used to them. Responsibility yes, pressure no."
