Porto star Hulk is believed to be in discussions with Chelsea over a move to the Premier League club.
The Brazilian striker's agent Teodoro Fonseca suggested the newly crowned European champions are one of five English clubs interested in signing Hulk, who could replace Didier Drogba at Stamford Bridge.
"There hasn't been an official proposal so far. There has been a lot of interest in him, but it has yet to go further than that," Fonseca told Brazilian media.
"Ultimately it is the player's wish to take on another challenge that will make the difference."
Hulk - real name Givanildo Vieira de Souza - scored 21 goals for Porto this season to help the club secure their second successive league title.
He has been with the Portuguese side since 2008 and is regarded as one of world football's most sought after strikers, with a buyout clause of €100 (£80 million) in his contract.
The 25-year-old's nickname is derived from his resemblance to Lou Ferrigno, the actor who played the Incredible Hulk.
