Former Pussycat Dolls lead singer and X Factor USA judge Nicole Scherzinger is set to replace Kelly Rowland as a permanent fixture on The X Factor for the new series in the UK.
The 33-year-old girlfriend of Formula One ace Lewis Hamilton was a stand-in judge at the London auditions last month and clearly impressed producers enough.
Makers of the popular show were desperately left searching for a new judge after Dannii Minogue turned down a £1 million deal to return to the show, the Daily Mail reports.
Geri Halliwell, Leona Lewis, Anastacia and Rita Ora have all be used a stand-ins but it appears that producers have finally made their decision.
The X Factor will be back on screens in the UK in August.
"Nicole has always seemed more relaxed on the UK series. No one really comes close to Nicole. We're discussing contracts now," a source told the news provider.
