Shoppers at Westfield in Shepherd's Bush, London, were given a shock this week when One Direction's Liam Payne and Niall Horan began an impromptu gig.
The young singers belted out several tracks, including an altered version of hit What Makes You Beautiful, as fans watched on.
Liam was on vocals and Niall played the guitar as the pair took up a position usually occupied by buskers.
Indeed, some passers-by thought it was just a couple of young buskers out to make a few pounds, the Daily Mirror reports.
Despite the surroundings being a far cry from the stages and crowds the boys are used to, they both looked as stylish as ever, with Niall sporting his trademark Ray-Ban sunglasses and baseball cap.
Perhaps the only disappointment for fans was that bandmates Harry Styles, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson were nowhere to be seen.
But that did not stop a substantial crowd building in the mall by the time the boys had come to the end of their impromptu set in the west London retail centre.
