U2 have urged their fans to express support for jailed Myanmar opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi.
The 64-year-old Nobel Peace Prize winner was arrested in May for violating the terms of her house arrest, after a tourist swam across a lake to her house and stayed with the leader for an uncertain period of time.
The rock band opened their 360 degree tour in Barcelona last Tuesday in which they paid tribute to Ms Suu Kyi and urged fans to wear a mask in support of the leader.
Their website has a link which enables fans to download a mask of the leader of the country's National League for Democracy, who has been under house arrest for most of the past 20 years.
A message on the band's website states: "Wear it to work or college. Wear it on the bus or the train. Wear it in the pub or at shops. And don't forget. Bring it to a U2 show."
United Nations secretary general Ban Ki-moon has been refused permission to see the leader.
Ms Suu Kyi is due to stand trial on charges of violating the terms of her house arrest and could face up to five years in jail.
