Bringing back the Deadliest Catch

Tuesday, 26 Aug 2008 11:02
Johnathan and Andy Hillstrand return for season 4 of the Deadliest Catch
inthenews.co.uk takes a look as the Emmy-nominated Series returns for season four in September.

Sharing Captain's duties on their custom built crab-fishing boat the Time Bandit, Alaskan brothers Johnathan and Andy Hillstrand routinely face down deadly danger in some of the most intense and threatening conditions known to man. Their incredible, nerve-wracking adventures are a central part of the Discovery Channel's documentary-style reality series Deadliest Catch, and have helped turn the four-times Emmy-nominated show into a massive success, watched by millions of viewers worldwide.

In search of their lucrative catch in the Bering Sea, Johnathan and Andy battle subzero temperatures, 60 mph winds and crashing waves the size of four-storey buildings on three to four hours of sleep a night—if they're lucky. They'll stop at nothing to land their precious catch of King Crab, hauling in the nets night after relentless night, while deckhands hammer sheet ice from under their feet. To say these men are tough would be a supreme understatement.

If you've missed the boat until now or you're already hooked, now's your chance to witness the boundless courage and steely resolve of Johnathan and Andy in action for yourself as they are here in the UK for the first time ever.

The new series of Deadliest Catch drops anchor on the Discovery Channel from Tuesday September 2nd at 21:00 BST.
