Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has remained at the top of the UK box office charts for a second week.
The second film in the action franchise based on the beloved 80s toys retained the top spot with an impressive second week haul of £4.37 million.
Though it was critically mauled and its takings have dropped by some 48 per cent, the Paramount Pictures release has now earned £16.49 million in just ten days, having grabbed the biggest UK opening of the year earlier this month.
The Hangover remained in second place while comedy Year One was the highest new entry of the week in third.
Literary adaptation My Sister's Keeper debuted in fourth with horror Blood: The Last Vampire, Bollywood production New York and black comedy Sunshine Cleaning all entering the top ten after their first weekend on release.
