Johnny Depp has declared his Public Enemies co-star Stephen Graham one of his favourite ever actors.
Depp stars as legendary bank robber John Dillinger in the Michael Mann crime drama, with This Is England actor Graham as fellow criminal Baby Face Nelson, who joined Dillinger's gang during the most notorious crime wave in American history.
Asked about working with the Liverpudlian at a London press conference ahead of the film's release, Depp joked: "We hate each other and we fought constantly!"
But he added: "I think Stephen Graham's magnificent, he's one of my favourite actors of all time. What he did in This Is England absolutely destroyed me.
"What he and little Tommo [Thomas Turgoose] did in that film of Shane Meadows took me to my knees."
Depp continued: "Stephen is someone I'll fight, no, I'll force him to be in all of my films from now on! At gunpoint if necessary!"
Public Enemies is out now.
