The Big Brother house will be home to three new female contestants after tonight's eviction, Channel 4 has confirmed.

The three new housemates will be debuting on the reality show shortly after one of either Rex Newmark or Jennifer Clark is evicted.

"All will be revealed when they enter the house during an extended programme at 22:35 BST tonight hosted by Davina McCall," a Channel 4 statement confirmed.

And the incoming residents on the ninth series of Big Brother will be a "sexy executive PA, a theatre director in her 40s and a model who has appeared in a Lynx advertisement," the statement added.

The trio will not be the first new entries to this year's series, after property developer Stuart Pilkington joined the group following the removal of Alexandra De-Gale.

The 23-year-old was thrown off the show for threatening other housemates with references to her "gangster friends".

And Channel 4 bosses decided to remove housemate Dennis McHugh from Big Brother last week after he spat on Mohamed Mohamed during a row.

Clark, a part-time model from Chester-le-Street, is expected to be the third contestant to be evicted from the show after Stephanie McMichael and Sylvia Barrie lost out in the public vote.
